Words are birds that flutter free Dancing ’round in front of me Teasing, taunting, flirting, haunting Taming them’s too fiercely daunting. Snatch them, catch them, when you can, Sweet as candy in your hand, Tempting, charming, witching, warming Mounting hunger’s so alarming. Feel them reel across your tongue, Chew them well and when you’re done Crunching, beating, tasting, eating Sating feeling’s all too fleeting.
