♥ ♥ ♥ A small town is rocked by the brutal murder of a 17 year-old girl, and her family succumbs to the ravages of grief, guilt and blame. Her two brothers cope in completely different ways and somehow, when years later, another high school girl is murdered, the brothers are again ripped apart and thrown together with a murder that somehow involves them. Through it all, there is football. Small town football is a big deal in the lives of the community and the characters. They turn to it again and again for lessons, for release, and for solace. A story with a little of every emotion it kept me going back for more. I couldn’t put it down until the killer was found and dealt with. It kept me guessing until the end.
